Reports suggest that if the Qatari group, led by Sheikh Jassim, completes its takeover of Manchester United, the club could see the return of some of its legends, including Cristiano Ronaldo and members of the 1999 Treble-winning team. Sheikh Jassim reportedly has plans to reshape the club’s hierarchy and make use of the profile and experience of former greats, which could result in some current executives leaving and former players joining the fold. The Qatari group is considered the preferred bidder for the club, but the Glazers have yet to make a decision on a new owner. The delay in the decision could potentially impact the club’s upcoming summer transfer window, with fears that it may not be resolved until after the season ends.
