Barcelona is still hoping to secure Lionel Messi‘s return to the club, with the player set to become a free agent in the summer. Despite reports that he has agreed to a deal with Al-Hilal, it has been revealed that Messi has not accepted their offer. However, in order for Barcelona to bring Messi back to Camp Nou, they will need to make several sales to comply with LaLiga Financial Fair Play rules. Fichajes reports that the club has identified three players who could be sold to make room for Messi.

These players include Raphinha, who although recently joined from Leeds has had an inconsistent season, Franck Kessie, who joined on a free transfer and has attracted interest from Tottenham, and Ferran Torres, who was a surprise big-money addition in 2022 and has been linked with Arsenal and Aston Villa.
