According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Real Madrid is preparing an official offer to Borussia Dortmund for midfielder Jude Bellingham. The offer will include add-ons, but Madrid is waiting for the Bundesliga title race to resolve before sending the bid. Personal terms have already been agreed between Bellingham and Madrid, who are widely expected to complete the transfer. Marca reports that Real Madrid will pay between €100-120 million for the Borussia Dortmund midfielder.

Madrid has emerged as the overwhelming favorites to sign Bellingham, moving ahead of Liverpool, Chelsea, and other interested parties. The Spanish giants are in the process of renewing their midfield, with Casemiro having joined Manchester United last summer and both Luka Modric and Toni Kroos seeing their contracts expire at the end of the season.

Bellingham was one of the young stars of the 2022 World Cup, being arguably England’s best player as they reached the quarterfinals.

Dortmund was always expected to sell their star man this summer, having decided against losing him in 2022 during the same window that they lost Erling Haaland to Manchester City for €60m.
