The recent protests by a small group of extremist fans outside PSG’s headquarters have been strongly condemned by the club. The fans held up banners and chanted insults to Lionel Messi, Neymar, Marco Verratti, and coach Christophe Galtier, while also asking President Al Khelaifi to resign.

The incident occurred after it was reported that Messi was suspended by PSG for two weeks because he flew to Saudi Arabia to perform his job as an ambassador of the Saudi Ministry of Tourism without the club’s permission. According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the Argentine striker will not renew his contract and leave on a free transfer at the end of the season.

Another group of radical fans gathered in front of Neymar’s private house in Bougival in the Yvelines region and chanted “Neymar, farewell”. While PSG fans were angry, Neymar seemed to add fuel to the fire when he liked a photo of him and Messi wearing a Barca shirt, posted by Brazilian TV channel TNT on social networks. According to Le Parisien, Messi’s father and agent – Jorge – is negotiating with the Saudi government for the Argentine superstar to move to the Saudi League with Cristiano Ronaldo.

But also does not rule out the possibility that the 35-year-old striker will return to Barca. Meanwhile, Neymar is almost certain to leave because the wave of protests against the striker has lasted for many years.
