TLC’s reality TV star Tammy Slaton from “1000-Lb. Sisters” is reportedly facing serious health issues after returning home to Kentucky. She has been diagnosed with pneumonia, and the lung infection has severely affected her ability to breathe. Recent photos leaked by The Sun show Tammy struggling to catch her breath and experiencing discomfort while walking to her front door.

Tammy had recently traveled to Atlanta, Georgia, and it was confirmed that her trip was for promotional purposes related to Season 5 of “1000-Lb. Sisters.” Unfortunately, she contracted pneumonia during her time in Atlanta, and her return home indicates that she is still not feeling much better. According to the Mayo Clinic, recovery from pneumonia typically takes at least a week or two, and it can be longer for individuals with underlying health conditions.

While Tammy is dealing with her illness, her sisters Amanda and Amy have been active on TikTok, frequently going live and sharing updates with their followers. Amanda, who tore her ACL and requires surgery, has been using a walker with a seat for mobility. She also revealed that she underwent hernia repair surgery in March.

Fans of the TLC family can look forward to new episodes of “1000-Lb. Sisters” airing on TLC next month.
