The Little Couple’s Jen Arnold recently had a humorous dining experience while out with her colleagues, trying something new that left her friends laughing. Although it might have been more of a texture experience than a taste experience. Just days after attending a summit on doctors and empathy, the TLC alum joined her simulation team for dinner.

As a doctor on The Little Couple, Jen Arnold often travels for work, which often involves eating out with family or friends. Nearly a year ago, she traveled to Portugal for business, where her husband Bill Klein joined her for a break. During that time, she shared a video of herself attempting to eat a sardine. However, she found the flavor so off-putting that she had to wash it down with wine after gagging.

It’s safe to say that Jen Arnold doesn’t necessarily dislike eating fish, but certain types, like sardines, have a strong flavor. During New Year’s, Bill Klein shared with TLC fans that their menu was filled with fish, including all the ingredients for the Feast of the Seven Fishes, an Italian-American tradition. It’s safe to assume that sardines were not on Jen’s plate. However, this week, The Little Couple star decided to try another new taste from the ocean.

Jen Arnold took to Instagram to share a reel of herself dining out with her colleagues. Many of them laughed as they watched her reaction to the texture and taste of what she was eating. It was her first time trying a raw oyster, and based on her expression, it didn’t sit well with her palate. Most likely, she reached for her glass of wine once again.

In the caption, Dr. Jen Arnold wrote:

“Great evening out celebrating some amazing simulation work with my team at #immersive #desin #systems & #healthcare #systems #simulation #international #oysters #slimy #food #littlecouple @puritanco”

Fans of the TLC alum flooded the comments section, discussing her taste experience. Here are a few examples:

“You’re a better person than I. Well done! 👏”
“Looks like you are having an amazing time, Jen! You were very brave to eat that oyster as that is something I would never ever eat. They are definitely an acquired taste. ❤️❤️🦪🤮”
“Don’t chew…throw it down! Next time, try fried oysters. Delish!”
“You have to do it fast with lemon and hot sauce!!! Lol.”
“Nope, nope, and nope! Slimy things, but bravo for being adventurous!”
