Elizabeth “Liz” Johnston and Brice Bolden, stars of TLC’s 7 Little Johnstons, recently welcomed their baby girl, Leighton Drew Bolden. While fans watched them share the news with Liz’s parents, Trent and Amber, it turns out Liz has expressed a desire to have another baby, this time hoping for a child with dwarfism. However, this revelation has sparked mixed reactions among viewers.

Initially, when Liz Johnston mentioned her hope for a little person baby, fans were shocked and upset. Many assumed she said it to please her mother, Amber. Brice Bolden, on the other hand, seemed more focused on the baby’s health and didn’t mind either way. However, it turns out Liz genuinely wants to have a baby with dwarfism.

Fans were taken aback because they are now aware of the potential health challenges that little people face, often requiring surgeries. This information, learned from TLC shows featuring little people, made viewers struggle to understand Liz’s desire for a child who might experience future skeletal issues, similar to Jackson Roloff.

In a recent interview with People, Liz shared her desire to have another baby specifically with dwarfism. However, Brice seems less enthusiastic about the idea. Liz mentioned that she hopes to convince him to try for another child when Leighton is a bit older, possibly closer to school age. She refers to it as “one more try for a little person.” Liz acknowledges that Brice is not on board with the idea, and fans often notice his apprehension on the show. She attributes his reluctance to fear and trauma associated with her previous C-section surgery.

As someone working in healthcare, Liz is accustomed to surgeries, but she understands that the experience was new and unsettling for Brice, as he couldn’t be present during the procedure.
