Whitney Way Thore, star of My Big Fat Fabulous Life, is known for her active engagement with fans and creating new content. However, she has recently been feeling unwell, leading her to temporarily pause some of her regular content, leaving fans eager for more.

In a recent update, the TLC star addressed the issue and assured fans that production would resume once she recovered from an injury. So, what exactly happened to Whitney?

During the off-season of My Big Fat Fabulous Life, fans often turn to Whitney Way Thore’s social media channels for fresh content. Recently, she has been documenting her journey to find love in a series titled “Let’s Meet A Man.”

However, there haven’t been any new episodes for a while.

Whitney recently posted a video on Instagram where she addressed an important fan question regarding the series.

“A lot of you ask me this. I haven’t abandoned my ‘Let’s go meet a man’ series. I injured my SI joint in my back and hip area. It’s a new type of injury for me, and it’s been really challenging,” shared the 40-year-old reality star. “I haven’t been able to leave the house, except to go to the chiropractor, and I haven’t even done that this week. I just left the house for the first time to run an errand, and I’m in so much pain. So, I need to go back to the chiropractor, and maybe after that, I can meet a man.”

Whitney jokingly added that she does occasionally meet men at the chiropractor, but unfortunately, they tend to be the same age as her father, Glenn.

Instagram Users Send Well Wishes to the TLC Star

Numerous Instagram users expressed their well wishes for Whitney in the comments section. Some offered advice, while others cautioned her against taking medical advice from strangers on the internet.

Comments included:

“I’m experiencing the same issue. Have you tried any injections?”
“I’ve dealt with this for a while. Swimming is a miracle cure! Especially treading water, as it helps stretch out the pain. Feel better!”
“No, no chiropractor! I have had multiple spine and SI surgeries, and all the orthopedic and neurosurgeons strongly advised against chiropractors. Physical therapy, acupuncture, and deep tissue massage are recommended. Good luck, I understand your pain.”
“Stretching helped me, specifically Pigeon pose.”

Whitney Way Thore’s fans expressed their concern and offered support as she deals with her injury, and many shared their own experiences and suggestions for her recovery.
