In an upcoming episode of Welcome To Plathville, a tense interaction unfolds between Moriah and Olivia Plath. The longstanding drama between them has been a focal point of the series, but are they ready to reconcile? Not entirely, as the preview reveals.
Olivia Plath Questions Moriah’s Apology
The preview shows Moriah approaching Olivia for the first time since Olivia and Ethan’s split, hoping to apologize to her former sister-in-law. Their previous encounters ended on a sour note, leaving tensions high.
Last season, Moriah accused Olivia of posting her music online without permission and keeping the profits. Olivia denied these claims, but Moriah stood by her story until recently.
“I’m really sorry that I made up a story about you stealing my music and broadcasted that to everyone,” Moriah admits in the preview. While Olivia finds some relief in Moriah’s confession, accepting the apology isn’t easy.
Olivia shares in a confessional, “I don’t really know what to do with Moriah’s apology because it’s not specific. It would be nice if she said, ‘Yeah, Ethan told us what actually happened, and I’m sorry I called you a liar in front of everyone when it wasn’t true.’”
Olivia also questions Moriah’s timing. “I think this is a conversation she needed for her own peace,” she reflects.
A Strained Relationship
The clip continues with Olivia candidly expressing her feelings to Moriah. Despite the apology, Olivia says, “There’s no trust there.” Moreover, she has no desire to reconnect with the Plath family.
“I don’t need those conversations,” Olivia tells Moriah. “My closure is happening now. Those issues should have been resolved privately.”
Moriah vows to avoid repeating her mistake. “Even if I’m upset, I never want to do that to someone again, especially not publicly,” she says.
However, Olivia remains skeptical. She suspects Moriah’s apology might be insincere, noting its timing coincides with Moriah releasing a new song.
“I know you’re releasing a song this week,” Olivia points out. “I sense this meeting is tied to that release, which feels off.”
Moriah is left speechless, nodding in response as the preview concludes.
