As of my knowledge cutoff date of 2021, Kylian Mbappe had scored a total of 132 goals in his professional football career. He began his career at AS Monaco before moving to Paris Saint-Germain in 2017 where he has continued to score at an impressive rate.

In the 2020-2021 season alone, Mbappe scored 42 goals in all competitions for PSG, including a hat-trick in the Champions League against Barcelona. He has also been a prolific scorer for the French national team, scoring 17 goals in his first 44 appearances for Les Bleus.

Mbappe’s impressive goal-scoring record has earned him comparisons to some of the greatest players in football history, and at just 22 years old, he has plenty of time to continue adding to his tally.

How many goals does Kylian Mbappe have for Paris Saint-Germain?

The former Monaco striker has taken his game to new heights since joining Paris Saint-Germain in a deal reported to be worth around €180 million, the second-most expensive deal in football history.

While stories of Mbappe wanting out stole the headlines on the very day, he recently netted his 31st goal with PSG in the UEFA Champions League, overtaking Edinson Cavani to become their all-time top goal scorer in the competition.

And it’s unlikely that will be the only record he takes off Cavani as he is well on his way to dethroning the Uruguay legend as the club’s all-time leading goal scorer.

Mbappe has also topped Ligue 1’s top scorer charts in four consecutive seasons, and is looking to match the record for most Golden Boots in the French top division this term.

How many goals did Mbappe get for AS Monaco

His lightning speed, trickery, and impeccable finishing ability were evident right from a young age and Mbappe made his professional debut for Monaco in December 2015.

He didn’t take long to introduce himself to the wider world in the 2016-17 season as he netted six goals in the Champions League to help the club reach the semi-finals of the competition.

The French phenom showcased his frightening talent that season, playing a crucial role in helping them lift the league trophy for the first time in 17 years, pipping PSG in the process

Mbappe goals for France

At the age of 23, Mbappe has some staggering statistics for France, but how has his journey been?

So far, Mbappe’s golden year in international football came in 2018 as he played an important role in France’s World Cup triumph in Russia, scoring five goals and becoming the first teenager to achieve the feat since Pele.

The striker was crowned FIFA’s Best Young Player, following in the footsteps of Pele and others.

In sharp contrast, Mbappe’s Euro 2020 campaign was a nightmare, as he failed to score in four games and missed a critical penalty that led to France being dumped out in the last 16 at the hands of dark-horses Switzerland.

He somewhat bounced back by helping Les Bleus win the UEFA Nations League 2020, but Didier Deschamps’ side crashed out in the Group stages in the same competition the following year.

Kylian Mbappe goals in total for club and country

Unsurprisingly, Mbappe scored the majority of his goals for PSG, but given he is determined to find an exit door, it wouldn’t be a surprise he surpasses this tally elsewhere, with him still in his early 20s.

He has already won 13 trophies at club level, however, the Champions League has historically eluded PSG despite having a star-studded squad and seemingly limitless pockets.

While there is still some way to go to overhaul his idol Ronaldo’s tally of five Ballons d’Or, or Messi’s seven Ballons d’Or, this is just the beginning for Mbappe.
